Vacuum Grinding Jar with PTFE Liner

The S4R Vacuum Grinding Jar with PTFE Liner is designed for laboratory grinding, mixing and homogenization under vacuum or a protective atmosphere.

The jar combines a stainless steel outer body with a smooth PTFE-lined grinding chamber. The PTFE liner limits direct contact between the sample and the metal body and is suitable for applications requiring good chemical compatibility and reduced metallic contamination.

The internal chamber has a rounded bottom profile to reduce material accumulation in corners and facilitate sample recovery after grinding. Its smooth surface also makes the chamber easier to clean between uses.

The lid is secured with multiple screws and fitted with vacuum and gas connections. The jar can therefore be evacuated or filled with a protective gas before the grinding process.

Available in 100 mL, 250 mL and 500 mL capacities, the jar is intended for use with compatible planetary ball mills.
