The S4R Silicon Carbide Heating Elements - U Type are high-temperature electrical resistance heating elements designed for laboratory furnaces, muffle furnaces and thermal-processing systems requiring both electrical connections to be located on the same side of the heating assembly.

Manufactured from silicon carbide (SiC), the U-shaped configuration combines two parallel element legs connected at one end, providing a compact solution for furnace designs where installation space or terminal accessibility makes a straight element impractical.

The S4R standard range includes 1400°C and 1500°C temperature grades in selected laboratory-furnace dimensions. Custom dimensions and electrical resistance specifications are available on request.

For correct selection, both the mechanical dimensions and nominal electrical resistance must be matched to the furnace electrical system.
