The S4R Silicon Carbide Heating Elements — Straight Rod are high-temperature electrical resistance heating elements designed for laboratory furnaces, tube furnaces, muffle furnaces and thermal-processing systems.

Manufactured from silicon carbide (SiC), each straight element incorporates a defined central heating zone and two terminal cold-end sections for integration into compatible furnace electrical systems.

The S4R range includes several standard combinations of element diameter, heating-zone length, overall length and temperature grade, covering commonly used laboratory furnace configurations. Custom dimensions and electrical resistance specifications are also available on request.

For correct selection, the element dimensions alone are not sufficient: the required nominal resistance and electrical configuration must be matched to the furnace power system.
