Their flat annular geometry and PTFE construction make them particularly suitable for applications requiring chemical inertness, low friction and clean material contact. Selected metric sizes are supplied with a standard 1 mm thickness.

Chemical & Installation Compatibility

PTFE provides broad chemical resistance, but sealing performance depends on the mating surfaces, gasket compression, pressure, temperature and chemical exposure conditions. PTFE is less elastic than conventional elastomers; correct gasket dimensions and compression should therefore be verified for the intended application.
