S4R PTFE Flat Sealing Gaskets provide a chemically resistant sealing interface for laboratory equipment, electrochemical cells, fittings, covers and small flange assemblies. Their flat annular geometry and PTFE construction make them particularly suitable for applications requiring chemical inertness, low friction and clean material contact. Selected metric sizes are supplied with a standard 1 mm thickness.

PTFE provides broad chemical resistance, but sealing performance depends on the mating surfaces, gasket compression, pressure, temperature and chemical exposure conditions. PTFE is less elastic than conventional elastomers; correct gasket dimensions and compression should therefore be verified for the intended application.
