The S4R Molybdenum Disilicide Heating Elements — U-Type are electrical resistance heating elements designed for high-temperature laboratory furnaces and thermal-processing systems.

Manufactured from molybdenum disilicide (MoSi₂), the U-shaped configuration combines two parallel heating legs with enlarged terminal sections positioned on the same side of the furnace assembly. The standard S4R range uses a 6 mm heating-section diameter and 12 mm terminal-section diameter, with several combinations of heating-zone length, terminal length and spacing dimension.

Standard configurations are available for laboratory furnace integration, while custom dimensions and electrical resistance specifications can be supplied on request.

For correct selection, the mechanical dimensions and the required electrical characteristics should be matched to the furnace design.
