Technical Notes

• Allow sufficient clearance between the boat and the inner wall of the process tube for safe insertion and removal.

• Avoid rapid heating or cooling and localized mechanical impact to reduce the risk of quartz fracture.

• Distribute powders and solid samples evenly and avoid concentrated loads on the boat walls.

• Do not expose quartz components to hydrofluoric acid or fluoride-containing media.
