S4R FEP-Encapsulated O-Rings combine a chemically resistant FEP outer jacket with an elastic silicone core to provide reliable sealing in demanding laboratory and chemical environments. The continuous fluoropolymer contact surface limits direct exposure of the elastomer core to aggressive media, while the silicone core provides the resilience required for static sealing applications. Selected metric sizes are available for laboratory, analytical and electrochemical systems.

Chemical & Installation Compatibility
FEP encapsulation provides broad chemical resistance while the silicone core supplies sealing resilience. Actual compatibility depends on the chemical medium, concentration, temperature, pressure and exposure duration. Encapsulated O-rings are less flexible than conventional elastomer O-rings and require appropriate groove geometry and careful installation. The −50 to +200 °C range is manufacturer-stated and should not be interpreted as a universal continuous operating range.
