The S4R FeCrAl Resistance Heating Coils - 0Cr27Al7Mo2 are preformed electrical resistance heating elements developed for laboratory furnaces, heat-treatment systems and custom thermal-processing equipment.

Manufactured from 0Cr27Al7Mo2 FeCrAl resistance alloy, each element is formed into a controlled helical geometry to provide a compact and uniform resistive heating section. The coils can be integrated into compatible ceramic supports, furnace grooves and electrically insulated heating assemblies.

The standard S4R range is defined by selected combinations of resistance-wire diameter, coil outside diameter, nominal pitch and heating-section length. Straight lead sections are provided at the ends of the coil for connection to the furnace electrical assembly, with lead length and terminal geometry adaptable to the installation.

Because the electrical performance of a resistance element depends on its complete geometry, the nominal resistance, operating voltage and required heating power must be matched to the furnace electrical design. These parameters can be specified for replacement applications or new heating-system development.

Custom configurations are available with alternative wire diameters, coil diameters, pitches, heating-section lengths, straight lead lengths, resistance values and terminal arrangements.

Standard configurations define the nominal mechanical geometry of the preformed coil. Straight lead length, nominal resistance, operating voltage and heating power are selected according to the intended furnace electrical configuration. Alternative wire diameters, coil diameters, pitches and heating-section lengths are available on request.
