H indicates the height of the empty cylindrical case as supplied, before the subsequent cell grooving and crimping operations. * t is an indicative value derived from the listed outer and inner diameters: t ≈ (∅D − ∅d) / 2. Because published diameters may be rounded, this calculated value should not be treated as a guaranteed manufacturing wall thickness.

Important information

Format-specific configuration

Empty cell components These products are supplied as empty cylindrical cell components, without cathode, anode or electrolyte. They are intended for laboratory cell assembly, do not constitute finished batteries, and must not be used or charged as such.
Empty-case dimensions The dimensions listed in the specification table refer to the empty cylindrical cases as supplied. The H value therefore represents empty-case height rather than the nominal height designation of the finished cylindrical cell format.
Dimensional reference The technical drawing is generic and defines only ØD, Ød, H and t. Numerical values are specified separately for each available cell format.
Safety-cap configuration Safety-cap opening pressure and the sealing or insulating component configuration vary by cell format. Use the specification associated with the selected variant whenever format-specific values are required.
Packaging Package quantity depends on the selected format: 100 pcs for 18650, 21700 and 26650; 60 pcs for 32650; and 25 pcs for 4680.
