NCMOH₂ (Ni:Co:Mn = 9:0.5:0.5) is a nickel-rich hydroxide precursor powder intended for the synthesis of high-capacity Ni-rich NCM cathode materials for Li-ion battery research.

This precursor is typically lithiated with LiOH·H₂O and calcined at high temperature (≈ 750–790 °C) to obtain layered NCM oxide cathodes.

Its spherical morphology and controlled particle size distribution enable good tap density and compositional homogeneity after calcination, making it suitable for research on high-energy and high-nickel NCM systems.
