Silicon/Carbon (Si/C) Composite Powder for Lithium-ion Battery Anode (200 g)

https://www.s4r.fr/web/image/product.template/51/image_1920?unique=ce393d6

Silicon/Carbon (Si/C) composite powder is a next-generation anode material for lithium-ion batteries, designed to achieve higher specific capacity than conventional graphite anodes.

In this material, silicon is deposited using a PVD-based process, then uniformly coated with a carbon layer. The carbon coating improves electrical conductivity, buffers silicon volume expansion during cycling, and enhances electrochemical stability.

Thanks to this composite structure, the Si/C powder delivers a high reversible capacity in the range of 420–470 mAh/g (at 0.2C, half-cell) while maintaining good first-cycle coulombic efficiency and improved cycling behavior compared to pure silicon materials.
