Designed for Electrode Coating in Battery R&D
The system enables uniform coating of electrode slurries onto current collectors or substrates with controlled thickness.
The integrated vacuum chuck securely holds substrates during coating, while the heating function accelerates drying and improves coating uniformity.
Its compact design allows installation on standard laboratory benches and operation inside inert-atmosphere gloveboxes (Ar) via air-lock transfer.
Film Applicator & Coating Options
- Fixed-gap film applicator included (50, 100, 150, 200 µm)
- Maximum standard coating width: 80 mm
- DC motor-driven push bar for smooth and continuous coating
- Waste slurry plate included
Optional accessories available:
- Adjustable-gap micrometer film applicator
- Multi-width and multi-path film applicators
- Hybrid slot-die film applicator
- Slot-die with digital micrometer control
Vacuum & Heating Functions
- Vacuum chuck ensures flat substrate fixation during coating
- Heating accelerates solvent evaporation and improves coating uniformity
- Suitable for polymer, ceramic, and composite electrode slurries
Laboratory & Glovebox Use
- Compact footprint suitable for bench-top installation
- Can be transferred through glovebox air-lock chambers
- Compatible with argon glovebox operation
Recommended to operate under a fume hood when working with volatile solvents.
