Glovebox Integration & Power Notes
The crimper is designed for operation inside inert-atmosphere gloveboxes (Ar / N₂).
- A power extension cable with KF40 feedthrough is included as standard.
- When operating under argon atmosphere, the 24 V power adapter must remain outside the glovebox, as arcing may occur in argon.
- Operation in nitrogen atmosphere is safe with the adapter inside the glovebox.
- The compact size allows transfer through standard glovebox airlock chambers.
Die Set & Coin Cell Compatibility
- Standard package includes one hardened steel crimping die for CR2032, CR2025, and CR2016 coin cells.
- 100 coin cell cases are included for immediate testing.
- Optional crimping and de-crimping die sets are available.
- Optional crimping die core for 3-electrode CR2032 cells is available.
Gap adjustment allows compensation for coin cell cases with different thicknesses
Maintenance & Safety Notes
- Electrolytes are highly corrosive; clean the die with alcohol after each use to prevent corrosion.
- Do not overtighten the pressure adjustment knob to avoid damaging the PTFE ejector.

When adjusting pressure:
- Fully loosen the knob until spring compression is released.
- Tighten gradually and stop once compression is felt.
- Use S4R-type coin cell cases only to ensure crimping quality.
